ROD MVA MAITSEAL

Maitseal single-acting rod seal is composed of a PTFE-made ring (virgin or filled) and a stainless steel energizing spring that activates the lips to optimize sealing. It has low friction and good abrasion resistance for a long service life. For food and pharmaceutical industries, Maitseal can be manufactured with an FDA and 1935/2004 approved silicone filling. Depending on the working conditions, the spring material changes to suit even cryogenic applications. Maitseal is generally fitted in open housings but can also be used in closed housings.
