Quality policy applied to suppliers
In compliance with the requirements of the Quality Management System UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2015 implemented at JIOrings, S.L., all suppliers (couriers, external laboratories, service companies, etc.) must comply with the minimum requirements applicable to the provision of their services.
The capability of suppliers is of vital importance for JIOrings to be able to meet the requirements of our customers, therefore, one of the requirements of our company’s Management System establishes the need to evaluate and select suppliers according to their ability to meet the business commitments they establish with our organisation.
In order to classify a new supplier as an “Approved Supplier”, we will conduct an evaluation during the year based on any incidents or rejections of orders according to the following criteria:
- Condition of the material upon arrival or provision of the service.
- Differences between material/service requested and that delivered/provided.
- Documentation.
- Compliance with delivery/performance deadlines.
- Quality of the service provided.
- Compliance with the environmental requirements established by the applicable regulations.
- Responsible consumption of resources.
All incidents or anomalies that occur will be recorded as a “non-Conformity” if deemed appropriate. The subsequent establishment of business relations will imply that the supplier assumes all the requirements specified in our orders or in the particular terms and conditions established, if this is the case.
Failure to comply (non-conformities) with any of these criteria will result in a negative rating for the supplier. JIOrings, S.L. will study the case, and this could ultimately lead to the loss of the approval as a supplier of our company. Likewise, in compliance with the requirements of the reference standards and as a supplier, maintenance company or subcontractor of our company, the minimum requirements will be applied in reference to the provision of its service.
