SPAQ - Double-acting composite piston
seals
The SPAQ piston seal is composed by a filled PTFE ring (generally 40% bronze) and an X-ring which form the dynamic part, as well as an energizing O-ring which performs the static sealing function. This profile has been developed to achieve optimum sealing effect in applications requiring separation between fluids or fluid and gas. It can replace SRPD and SPPT piston seals as the housings are the same. SPAQ model is recommended in machine tools, cylinders, presses and accumulators.
